As some you have seen I run a multi-scale layout consisting on O guage and Ho. Im going to redo the layout very soon and Ive got a lot of N scale trains and buildings etc from a collection I bought last year but no track. Is there different codes of track for N scale? Last time I had N scale I was 8 or 10 years old so I dont remember the specifics. Also what brand to buy like bachmann or atlas to name a few. Any help would be great full .

When I did my N scale layout a year or two ago I used Atlas code 80 track. I believe Atlas makes it in two codes, 80 and 55, 55 being the smaller of the two. If you're running older rolling stock, go with the code 80.

Hope that helps
