I'm rebuilding my Varney 4-6-0. Missing the important stuff. I found the screws I need. I decided to make my own side rod spacer. What does the inside diameter need to be? I'm using brass tubing. Bowser has my parts, just want too much for shipping! Also, what washers will work well with 0-80 screws? I notice Micro Mark has only the "Numbered" washers.
" Heck with counting 'em rivets, TRAINS ARE FOR FUN! Not called the Mad Scientist for nothing either!"

A clearance hole for an 0-80 screw is .06350" in diameter. That's an no. 52 drill bit.
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.
