Waiting for this to arrive. Looks to have been tampo printed but not painted.

If it is indeed not painted, it will definitely be a neat piece to have. I've seen a couple of error pieces like this on ebay. I kind of wish I'd bought them

Cheez, Do you remember what they were?
I've studied the green PRR F3 I have and it looks unpainted.
After missing out on the pre-production models I had to have this.

This was on ebay about a year ago. Notice how the combine is missing its blue stripe entirely, yet the lettering is perfectly intact. This isn't as extreme as your example, but it's definitely an error.

Good eye Cheez!
You are one of the few true "Tyco Guys" here anymore.

Well the F3 arrived today and is a plain old green PRR F3 like I already have. The color must have been washed out by the camera flash. I didn't ask the seller any questions and should have.

Ahh well, still a nice piece. I wouldn't mind a few of the Tyco Pennsy units...the Brown ones though

Cheez, This one has a nice nose herald my other one is torn. The little step on the pilot side is broken on the other and not on this one. You're right it is still nice. I'd like to get a Tuscan PRR F3 also. Thanks.
