I have a Mantua B & O Royal Blue steam engine in good shape that I have had and used since the mid 60s. It runs well and is intact except the headlight doesn't work. I've seen them go for between $40 and $60 on ebay. I also have the 4 car B & O passenger set that I am currently running behind an Amtrak diesel. 3 of the cars run well, 2 with lights that work. One car has a broken flange on one of plastic wheels.
I'm debating on whether to sell it as a complete set or sell the locomotive and keep the cars. Can anyone tell me if it is more valuable with the cars and some idea of how much more than just the engine?
