I have recieved a pocher Bowker 4-4-0 steam engine from my grand father and it is missing the drive shaft the part is 155-027 from A H M can any one help me if any one has one and want to sell it or know where I can find one thanks Todd

I believe it is a 3/16" hexhead nut...two of those on a bolt about an inch long will work.

Yup. Fortunately I've amassed a decent collection of parts I've snagged at low prices. None of these, but the hex nut solution works, or you could just substitute a set of NWSL dogbone shaft & cups.

Shaygetz; great tip on the 3/16" nuts trick. Thanks.

I made one one time by using two of the new style Athearn, hex ended drive shafts. I cut them to length and used some shrink tubing to make the joint. It seems to be working fine.

I did that with the hex shaft from a RR U25C, which is considerably longer. I cut it to length and then joined it with brass tubing. Works fine.
