I was just looking at the new "Gen2" mobile device-friendly format that MRH is starting with their current issue.
As I frequently read (and have written myself) of the less than filling nature of MR in recent years, I have to admit that MRH is moving up fast. I have every issue since their start in 2009. I regularly download them and then save them on a disc for reference and re-reading. Each issue is easily over 100 pages and the interactive nature of content is great.
I'm just buying MR retail now- it gives me an excuse to go into the local Hobbytown to be a regular customer, even if I am just buying workbench stuff like paint and plastic building materials.
If only those old ones- Railroad Modeling, Mainliner, etc had lasted a few years more into the current digital era...
Oh well...
