I'm redetailing a Ahm 0-6-0T. It looks as if the steamer left the factory with no power reverse! Where are these mounted on most steamers and what type would be found on such small steamers like on switchers.

Justin,

Which model 0-6-0? Depending the year of the real thing, it may not have had a power reverse, but a "lever" that did all the pulling on a bell crank.....that made it move the proper linkages to go into reverse!

Post a picture so I can have a look at the 0-6-0's I have!

How do those run? I've considered getting on of those before! I have the Rivarossi 0-6-0T Saddle Tanker and it runs great!

Hyde, mine runs well. I have a clunker in the bin, it runs well. Just a little to light wieght engine. Good can motor, all drivers geared/pick-up, and runs fairly quiet.
