I was wondering if anybody here has got measurements for the Power Torque brushes in millimeter? I found these on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-AFX-G-PLUS-Original-Equip-Carbon-Brushes-G-8885-/400064603507?pt=Slot_Cars&hash=item5d25b56573

Now, what about springs? There is several listings from slotcarcentral on eBay with new brushes from Aurora and Tyco motors.

I found the factory PT brush size, just in inches:

Calculations I did:

Tyco Brushes: Dia.-3.175 MM L-2.7781

AFX/Aurora "Dot" Brushes: Dia-3.10MM L-2.20MM.

What y'all thinkin'? The difference is .075 MM X .5581MM. Is this enough difference to where it won't work?

I have used both the slot car springs and brushes, and they worked successfully in repairing PT motors. There's not that much difference really. I think I used older Aurora brushes and springs, though, not Tyco. I posted that some time ago in a similiar thread.
