Does anyone have an extra access panel for a PT motor..The motor is in a SD-24 Diesel engine, 1981...I broke off the little plastic band that retains the brush pickup spade/contact...Or perhaps where to try and locate one...Motor ran fine...I was cleaning it...Thanks...IAMFISH.

If there's any of the plastic strap left you could gently heat it with a soldering iron so that it holds the plate/contact. I discovered this by accident. [:D]

Nope, sheared off clean as a whistle...SO I'M STILL LOOKING....I did get it running by using a zip tie and backing the contact and it flies now...IAMFISH.

I may have one lying around somewhere... I've gutted a few PTs to make dummies, but don't recall if I kept that plate (or where it is). I will try to look for you.
