Sorry guys, I need to vent, I just spilled alcohol on my new black Hooker Chemical tanker. I was trying to clean it before I packed it back into it's package when I knocked over the alcohol I had been using to strip one of my TYCO Talgo's. It looks like it left a white film on the tanker and it wont come out. I'M PISSED!!! Thank you and have a great weekend.

Wrecked hookers can be stored in a trunk until dispersal.
Wait, what... you mean the trains? OH. Well same method works for those too.

Chemical leak... I think you did nothing wrong, and nothing got ruined.
Accidents happen, but it needn't be taken or seen as an accident or "OH #$@#!"
Please show pictures, and perhaps, we might even give rave reviews on how real it actually looks.
We may sweeten your outlook on this... Get some lemon-aid out of this experience.
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I agree, no need to despair. For example, take a look at Madonna (or better still, don't). She's got like a million miles on her, but is still going strong.

Ben, With autos............ I plan to do exactly the same the actual scale models in 1/87th is wicked expensive! I can't justify $15.00 a pop!

Damnit, got here too late to make a good dead hooker joke lol.
Alcohol? Heck I'd know what I'd do. Perfect weathering candidate now. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1800223
Edit: White streaks are pretty common I just had trouble finding pics of them on short notice. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=546759 If you look around you'll surely find other pics of black tank cars with white streaks on the side from chemicals spilled.
The trick with using 1/87 scale cars is to keep them in scenes where they aren't close to trains or other items that make them appear out of scale. Or when doing pictures keep the cars & trains in separate parts of the frame (foreground & background) so the viewer has trouble telling the size difference.
