New member here. Saw a poster (Brian) has scored a 1977 Tyco Royal Blue set off ebay. I got that set for Christmas in 1977. Would love to get my hands on that set.

So you make at least 10 posts before you can private message someone?

Welcome mlf.

I believe 10 is the magic number.

The Royal Blue set (#7324) from '77 shows up often on "another site we are all too familiar with." I've seen it go for $50, $75 and $150, sealed.

Lots of knowlegable folks here - you are in good company.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays,
-R

Awesome to hear the royal blue set shows up often on that "other site". I'm certainly going to keep my eye out for it. Those prices you listed seem pretty reasonable to me, certainly if it is sealed.

EM-1, as I said in my post in the "Introduce Yourself" forum, I haven't really been into model trains since I was a kid. So I don't currently have any. I'm looking to change that though. I loved them as a kid. I stumbled across this forum in my attempt to locate the 1977 Sears Royal Blue set I had as a kid in 1977. I would like to start by getting my hands on one of those sets, preferrably in mint condition.
