I posted pictures in the Marx Train section of the forum. A co-worker brought them in for me to look at. A general question to the braintrust here: The plating is missing off the trucks. It had some kind of blue look to it. Sort of like bluing a gun barrel. Is there a practical way replating the trucks after the rust is removed? He wants them for display.

I suggest looking at some black plating chemical sets from Micro Mark. Me. I just sprayed mine flat black. I love those old Marx trains! You;ll have to drill out the rivet and use a screw that would work.
