I think that's an AHM. You can tell it's not Tyco just from looking at the at the 76 decal.

hi cheez and gareth also presidents seal is white and handrails are plastic which makes it most certainly ahm/rivarossi,i also asked owner to check loco underneath but as yet no reply,ken

Both pieces are AHM. The AHM Century 424 was made by Roco in Austria and shares much of the design also found on the Atlas 1970's HO-scale locos (GP38/GP40/SD35/SD24/FP7)...though AHM's C424 was not a good as the Atlas pieces.

the caboose isn't the Tyco one, either.
I have the "Super Century" in this paint with the matching caboose.
Hmmm... however, the chassis of my unit is of an Athearn U36-C since the Tyco chassi burned out, back when I first got it in CHristmas 1976.
