Here is my Tyco Silver Streak set from Christmas 1979. It is complete except for the box lid and the cardstock truck terminal. It does show some wear and tear since the 12 year old me did play with it.

I like how the oops sheet makes the claim that nothing defective comes out of the factory. I'm sure no company has a perfect track record, especially Tyco

Yeah, I've got probably, 20 of those "oops" sheets just as they came with what seems "partial" sets I got from yard sales, or garage sales......

John & Ben, thanks for the complements! Eric, come to think of it, the cars in this set didn't want to stay on the track; they seemed to have poorly molded wheel flanges! So much for the OOPS promise with this set!

Ken,

I know exactly where this set's been for the last 33 years! It spent 5-7 years (starting in '01) in a non-climate controlled storage unit but other than that it's lived indoors with me. It hasn't been out of the box since at least '93 however. I'm sure that hasn't been helpful either!
