I looked on Hoseeker and they do have a blown up diagram of where the parts go to my Rivarossi 0-8-0 which is a 74, BUT it doesn't show how to wire it. Anybody have a 74? There are differences between years 72, 74, and 75. I just need to see where the wires have to go being I'm installing new wire. Thanks!

Do you happen to have any steps for the front pilot beam? Mine are broken, or do you have a brass pilot beam that is indentical to it? Thanks!

I'll look, that I'm not sure of those are alot of times the first thing broken on those models!
IF I don't, I'll see what I have for brass parts as well. IF nothing else, I could make a brass set to match the Rivarossi foot boards, HOWEVER, it would use the FACTORY Rivarossi pilot beam! As I have a factory unharmed version of the 0-8-0 to use as a guide to make the custom brass parts!
Let me know if this makes sense to you as the foot boards and pilot beam are 2 different parts of a steam locomotive!

Hyde, this is how your 0-8-0 wiring goes. One wire goes to the positive side on motor and goes to the male tender connector (pin) for tender pick up. Then one wire from the headlight goes to a round brass tube that goes through the frame or the motor's ground side.(has a shiny metal tab sandwiched between the motor and brush spring and brush tube) Finally, the last wire to complete your circuit goes from the motor's ground to the brass tube.Hope I helped! This how my 4-6-0 is wired and should be the same on your 0-8-0.

John, the steps are broken off but i believe there is stil overhang of the broken ones. To me it'd seem simpler to just cut out the old beam and have a new one with footboards installed. And Justin That seems some what simple but knowing me it's probably not...
