"Racing" to be the first today at 5:30 AM, before a road trip, I found this car at Bunker Hill WV train show last weekend. These fetch pretty pennies on Ebay, I have a few, hope to add it to my Race Car Consist in the future.

My custom excursion car project out of an old SP Con-Cor RPO! Cut in half, sanded down to equal sides, and interior work begins! I installed 2 trash bins for the tourists to throw their trash in Also installed a bench seat, had 2 but can't find the other one It will be done by December for use next year on my SCVR excursions when its' warmer. Based my design off of Mt Rainier Scenic excurison car! See below.

I love that train! Got to ride it before the bridge washed out. I am thinking of modeling it at some point for the layout.

Okay - I paid way too much for this car, but I decided I really wanted it. You had to belong to Marklin's Insider Club for 5 years in order to buy it. Very unique and good looking, too. It is a grade measuring car. It shows the grade from 0 to 15 degrees on the built-in bubble level.
