Both cabooses (cabeese) have chips missing from the corners. Three of the boxcars are missing the roof walks. I was thinking I might be whipping out the airbrush eventually and matching the paint and repainting roofwalks, steps and possibly the caboose roofs after repairing the corners. Didn't know if anyone had any parts value pieces laying around.

Sorry Philip! Not trying to make anyone jealous.

Stopping of the picture posting I can not do. If you "google" Varney steam locomotive photos or Mantua steam locomotive photos, most of what you will see for the first four pages are mine! I post them as sort of a reference. Google "winton allegheny steam locomotive" and the first page of photos are all posted by me.

I may eventually sell a set, so you still have a chance to get one.

Athearn still sells chemical tank frames, platforms, roofwalks for the box cars, smoke jacks for the cabooses etc. Youll probably hafta use A line metal steps for the boxcars that need replacements. I used B&O "delux" gold as a pretty close paint match when I redid the platform on my tank.

Hi Larry, I have spares of all those parts, but i do not have anything painted in the factory colors. The paint is pretty much exclusive to this set. If I want to replace the parts, I will need to repaint the parts to match. I hat to do that, but if I need to then I will. If I replace the steps, I will use original plastic steps and just carefully remount them. If you use a very fine drill bit, you can insert at least one fine wire as a splint.
