Hi Guys!

My COTW is a HO Scale Varney Ohio Seamless Tube Division open-end gondola that I just purchased on eBay for ~2.50 + $5 s/h:

The end beam assembly is missing, but I can recreate a replacement pretty easily. Here is one I have that started life as another Varney, but someone custom made the end and decaled it:

He John! If you could scan me an image of the end beam assembly, that would be cool! Funny thing, I picked up another one tonight. The Varney hounds must have been sleeping tonight, because I picked up two rare Varney pieces very cheap!

Here is the new car:

Sean,
I'll have to find what issue it is as I'm not sure of it off the top of my head as I just recall seeing it in the 1964 year of the collection of magazines I have......

I finds it I sure will scan it for you!

Well, finally, I have a COTW to post.... (Its not often, I have rolling stock to post!)

So, here goes....

MDC Old Time Tank Car, that actually has a "Log Car" frame from them as well! Sadly, this car, WILL NOT be built as a tank car, as I LOVE the log car frame they made! I am however going to rebuild the tank car as a shorty, old timer but not have the same frame!

FINALLY, a Watermelon Car to add to my collection! Now to figure out how to load it!

I never thought I'd EVER have a set of these! But, I got them and I don't got in them what you would venture to guess I paid!

This picture shows WHY they are expensive, they are sprung AND equalized!

And last but not least.....

The LAST passenger car, I needed to complete my old time B&O "William Mason" set.....YES, this will be custom painted!

You guys with all the pictures I've posted in the past 20 minutes, WILL NEVER guess what I got tied up in any of this!

Ted,
Yes, I painted those.....The picture is blurry I noticed......

But these cars will be pulled by my William Mason, OR my Mantua "General", as they're painted to match those 2 locomotives.....
