Hey guys,

I've just come across Tyco's Official Petticoat Junction Ho scale electric trainset as shown at:

http://tycotrain.tripod.com/tycotrainsredboxeracollectorsresource/

The powerpack is not included, but the set is in original box and the train is in exellent condition.

I'm wondering, how much is it worth?

regards,

J.Nordfjord

Johann:
For what its worth: CFW Cannonball sets/aka "Petticoat Junction" sets' worth depends on the venue. The last few examples I've run across at train swap meets seem to trade in the $250-300 range if excellent in good box with inserts and paperwork. Truest value may be what on-line auctioners are willing to bid and, if memory serves, good sets consistently bring in excess of $200 in as described above condition.
Hope that insight and general price estimate helps (as stated from the outset, however, all venues and markets are different and no "value" is certainly chiselled in stone on Mantua/Tyco sets),
