| Is an AHM alco RS-2 tank compatable? I think I have one on the one I'm scrapping.

I dont think so...I think the wheel base is shorter....wouldnt fit between the trucks...but im not really sure...PM me with a pic if you can...I'll look at it

You are right, the tank I have would be too large. Checked the parts box, and I am again mistaken; I only have one! According to my old records book, I bought the clunker for its fuel tank, gears and and geared axle. Go figure.
If I see an S-1 kicking around at the next sale, I'll snatch it. Flea market was cold turkey today; it's raining on the island today

yeah I had one of those once and couldnt find a tank...so I found a little "trinket" box painted it black, drilled a hole in it and installed it. Lucky, as it worked perfect. May have to do the same with this one ....Later sold it.
