Now THAT is one SWEET tank car.....question is, what era you model? That looks pretty "new" for era of modeling.....STILL I like it! (I'm collecting cars to run with my CSX fleet! Even tho, I'm planning the layout B&O/Western Maryland based in 1950's late steam, early diesel!
But, I collect everything in that railroad family, all the way to the present day CSX!

EM-1, I dont model a specific time period. I run what looks good to me. I have a mixture of modern diesels and steam loco's. I'd say most of my rolling stock is modern but there are a few wood side box cars. I guess my problem is I like it all

Heh... Actually, it's a MDC Pullman Palace Car. Combine...
In kit form, it comes from gold boxes... A good buy $7-$15.
Now, these are rare, albeit great kits that could use a bit more weight.
Unfortunatelly ( ) now these are found in R-T-R form for $25-$35 apiece!
Roundhouse/Mode Die Cast... Merged with Athearn... Horizon Hobbies distributors
Good find!

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Well first off, you have GREAT taste in tank cars I must say! Thats a NICE one.....
As for the time you model, well I model alot within the late steam era with my Articulateds, BUT, that also allows me to model early diesel as well......This is what my layout is based from.
NOW, to add to that, I collect EVERYTHING there after as well! Of the 2 railroads I model, the B&O and Western Maryland. I collect EVERYTHING from them afterwards up to the present day, CSX, including Chessie System, Seaboard System, Seaboard Family Lines System, C&O.... I know.....I just can't help myself!
Plus, I just doing sort of the same thing in N scale, nevermind the HO I been collecting for 30 years! *Looks at what I just typed* Thinks to self, I CAN'T believe I've been collecting that long!
