Guys, I've got a 2 box set of the FireFox Fire Fighting train set, and would like to know who makes it, the boxes I have it in are plain white unmarked I think it was sold my AHM. HOWEVER, I can't find it on Tony Cooks site or HO Resource either!

AND if it is AHM, did they make it, or did they have someone else make it like Roco, and sold it under the AHM name?

I'll be posting pictures of it shortly!

It is AHM, a quick Google search answered that. Looks like it came with the little switcher engine that was also used in the G.I. Joe and Transformers train sets.

Thanks Dave,
I was just wondering if AHM actually made these themself, OR had them done for them to sell

I ask that as I know Roco done some items that they had sold under the AHM name.

Ben,
I'll have to remember that the tank car "sprayer" is a difficult one to get......I may wind up and try to cast the sprayer platform!

I may even try to cast the details to the hose reel car as well!

That way, is can be fitted to any car for detailing purposes!

I believe that white box is just an inner box, I saw a set of these at a flea market about 50 miles from me, with the other box showing the manufacturer. I'd have to revisit it to see if it's still there, they wanted $45 for the set, no engine. I have I think a complete set myself I bought up in Maryland at hobby store. Next time I hit that flea market, I'll try to remember to get a phone pic of the set.
