a nice rake consisting of from front to rear
1 pecos river acf 34" covered hopper closed side/round hatches (rebuilt)
2 pecos river acf 34" covered hopper closed side-single handle hatches
3/4 ps2 34" covered hoppers

So just how many are in a rake?

Heard that term used maybe once before...
Kind of like the use of the term perch in surveying.

So here is a question, so if you had a rake of cars, how many cars would that be and how many perches would they total, if measured end to end?

The brass parts are part of the brake rigging.
The car in the bottom photo has it. The car on the top photo doesn't.

I wish I had the money to collect brass. Tyco is expensive enough, not to mention my specialty stock, which borders on ridiculous pricing.
Starting my Tyco and other favorites collection over again after 37 years.
