Have noticed the forum is being invaded by SPAMMERS again - Event: Nike introduced the No cost Powerlines NRG profess tfrederica - this one is the latest. When i log on to this site - i get a re- send page -i then have to go to back to my favorites and click Tyco forums just to get page pulled up after logging in - only does it with this site and none of my other favorite bookmarks -have removed and re done -still does it -so i am guessing it is spammers causing my issue in logging on -anyone else?

happened last night
went to book mark bar, hit Tyco treated me as a new visitor needing to register.
I closed everything down , started up and this time wanted me to log in
This morning got right in with no log in

Hi Brianstyco,
I too have had some strange things happen on this site as well. It thinks i'm new again I guess and keeps doing the page fold saying to register now. Sometimes I get an error just trying to get to the site. I thought maybe it was just me, but maybe not.

Interesting I have not had any log in problems but 2 spammers in just a few days is very strange all of the sudden. The spam posts by aisora6 were the first I had seen on the forum since I created my account.

Not much you and I can do about that . It is a open forum. If you notice the posts do dissapers after awile. The Moderators are doing there job. Once they stop. People leave the forum.
Always report spamers to the moderators. They can act faster then.

I get the same error Brian. I just hit the cancel button and then re-type the sites URL. It's a minor inconvenience 
EDIT: I just remembered I didn't start getting this until I updated firefox.

Have told those spammers TRAINS OR GET OUT
ok that was the NICE version I'm sure y'all know what I meant

| Thanks for replies everyone - glad to know i am not only having some log in issues as Cheez stated -minor inconvenience but annoying - i do report and will continue to do so. Cheez- i didn't think about it -but it may be my Firefox too -i updated -but is only this site i have to go back to bookmark and click to get in after logging in

Took care of the spam and the spammers.
As far as the annoying corner which asks you to register it's there to try and get people to login or create an account. As soon as you login it goes away. I'm trying to get some accounts updated. I could turn it on that you would be forced to login to view anything but didn't. Would never hear the end of it.
I'll turn off what I just mentioned.

No, you wouldn't. I absolutely DETEST websites that require you to register just to look at any of the stuff on the site, I like to window-shop first. If you don't want me around, make sure I'm forced to register first.  Sometimes I just browse the TF without logging in to see what's going on. Keep it that way, please!
