Guys, Before the weather had gotten so hot, and humid, This was the last locomotive, I actually got to dullcote after decals were added:

Not to shabby! Sadly, I'm so far behind with custom paints that I'm actually doing a TON of detail work to catch up and then when the weather is more cooperative, I'll set and decal and dullcote for days on end! I owe a few of you guys a few custom lettered/painted items so......
Sadly, with this model, I'm looking for the "AAR" truck frames from Athearn that are metal... As I don't plan to make it a powered loco, but the metal side frames make good for a YTR design "A Dummy, with a brain" Anyone that has these ARR trucks in metal, complete, I'd be willing to make a trade, or possibly some cash if at a good price!

Thanks Ben! Thing is, at one time I swore I was "NEVER" going to model the Seaboard side of CSX well, those days are g-g-gone! I'm a long ways into it now..... Some factory paints, others custom paint out of the shop!
I actually grew up seeing the Seaboard "Family Lines System" running on what was Chessie B&O rails! SO I thought about it, and well made up my mind, I'm NOT going to model as much as I have with the B&O, and Western Maryland and Chessie System into CSX.....BUT, I am going to model a few of the last Seaboard unit before getting hit with the CSX paint sprayer!
I could almost swear to a fact that at one time I seen a Seaboard Family Lines SD50 on Sand Patch (my home stomping ground) BUT it seems they were released from EMD around the ntime of the Seaboard System paint so..... I may be mistaken an SD45-2 to be an SD50! To bad tho, I bet that would have looked GREAT on a big SD50 anyway.....

neat Some of the old SCL L&N Family Lines & Chessie System cars will show up once in a great while on current lines Most will have different reporting marks but you will see the old logs on the cars still

Yeah, I've seen actual Western Maryland gondola's with the Red oxide paint, with the "Western Maryland" written out on the side, and having a white number patch for NEW CSX roadnumbers, in Western Maryland font!
I'll have to find those pictures and be sure to post them! I found the real car, setting at the Rockwood, PA railroad station, being used for MOW service! BUT, without a MOW road number!
