My COTW:

It is an Ambroid (I think) Palace Poultry car. It is a little rough, but still worth the price.

It came in a lot of 11 old wood & metal freight cars just purchased tonight for $30 inc s/h. In the lot was a Watermelon car that needs a little work as well.

Sorry that I only ever post the really old dusty & grimy stuff, but that is all I buy. It is what I like!

Well guys, I think I got my camera and new computer working again, lets see if this works!

With that said, I got a few of each so I'm going to pile them all in one posting for freight cars! gotta make up for lost time, don't you know!

Anyone able to identify this caboose------^ ? I'm not sure on it and as it is, the whole thing is diecat, and had what looks to be Mantua wheelsets in it.....Old time Mantua? The trucks say differently on it but, I like it and will be adding it to my Log train that I've been building....

Then I have this:

Just thought this was a cool one for $1.00! (at a yard sale)

Then I got these:

I got these-------^ with the the logging caboose post above! Also, metal, and very heavy for their size, considering they are low side gondolas!

ENJOY!

And now, I have yet another car to add to this madness

Custom painted Rivarossi Observation, to model this "PC-100" that was found in Lincoln, New Hampshire as it was being restored. I got pictures of the real thing and decided to make a model of it of my own......The car, is a Presidents Car, which is bullet proof and VERY heavy......with thick and I do mean thick window glass!

The neat part of this car, in real life, was to see it painted as you see the model, and then wonder if it were a REAL B&O passenger car, easy way to find out? Look at the trucks.....The truck frames had "B&O" forged in them during the casting period, and was visible to me when I had seen the car! I wished I could have gotten good shots of the trucks to show the B&O marking but was in an area to difficult to try and get a clear picture of it.

NOW, if I could find a Rivarossi interior to go with it, It be all set!

Actually, I need 3 of those interiors as I have 3 of the Rivarossi Observation, for different paint liveries for the B&O! This being one of the 3....

I'm not sure if I have shown this one before. A tyco Union Pacific gondola that I weathered for my scrap yard. It is one of two ex-UP cars that work the yard. This one is heavily rusted and dented up.
