Arrived yesterday. Advertised as MIB but not sure if it's the original box, also has hand rails. I have no plans to run this but I'd like to see how a brand new PT runs, of course I have run other little used PTs that haven't been broken in.

Two of Tyco's E7A locomotives. I have several of these, and I have always wanted to cut up a couple of these and make a B unit out of the two rear halves, but I just can't bring myself to cut up a perfectly good locomotive...

Ken, Sweet, and they're cool undec and Tyco heritage too.
a6m5zerosen, I just recently got my first E7s and I think that's a neat project to make a B unit. I go back and forth between making one all Tyco or custom painting and E8B from another manufacturer.

Of my two DD40AX's, this one is my baby and hardly gets taken out of the box. The thing with these long trains is the rails are easy to break.

Hi All,
Great stuff! I really like that PA1. It's an older one with the metal trucks right?
Thanks for sharing.

This is something I pulled out of a box-lot. The loco chassis is from a L/L Dockside. The tender sits on an AHM MDT frame.

That's what I said when I found it. I have no idea what (if any) prototype loco if represents. But it is so different I couldn't bring myself to parting it out and had to get it running.

This is my LOTW:
It is a Mantua / Tyco U.S. Military RR (Blue No.T210-C - NEW -1961) This Civil War general does not have a smoke unit:

It was purchased this past weekend as a BIN for ~$50 and it included a Rivarossi / Pocher 2-4-0 with a warped tender due to heat. The rest of the engine was complete and in great shape, including the tender trucks. A pretty good buy I think.

Unfortunately DCC was removed, but I'm installing a Bachmann DCC decoder and a front coupler as we speak.
