Looks like Faller...your pump house is missing. Gonna hafta find an N scale one myself as those things are everywhere down here--even parking lots and front yards, we call 'em grasshoppers...

Ken, I believe that's from Faller. These usually have a synchronous slow-motion motor mounted underneath connected by a rubber band belt to the counterweights. I'll see if I can get a picture of mine posted here.

Here's my Faller grasshopper, slightly modified from the original. It's been removed from the layout so that I can replace the belt.

oil pumper I sees those here in Nebraska & Wyoming I've even seen a pic of one decorated like a grasshopper
