I would just like to point out,why I do not post many tyco/mantua items these days, today I went onto eBay uk as I always do,and found about 15 items in total of tyco/mantua items, then went onto eBay USA,and found over 2000 items,so it stands to reason that I cannot compete with you guys, quantity wise, but I do try,and will keep trying to post tyco/mantua in loco and car of the week etc,but when I cannot, I will post what ever I think is appropriate, ken

Ken,
I do not have a problem with any of your postings. I myself am not a "big" tyco collector. I prefer older Mantua over Tyco anyway. I just like the comradery that comes with being a member of this site. If anyone has a problem with any of my postings, I have not heard about it and probably wouldn't worry about it if they did anyway.
I love seeing your postings anyway! Someday I will be going over the pond and would love to stop by too!

hi Sean you would be most welcome,no airs and graces here, its a home not a palace, more so as I have seven kids living here, regards my postings, I post what little I can get over here, the postal service and eBay policies are making it harder to get what I want, which is why I try and trade with members, ken

Ken, I'm a worse transgressor than you are, since I live stateside and pass up all that Tyco stuff I see at shows. Like Sean, I have some interest in old Mantua up through red box Tyco, mostly their steamers. Rivarossi is my main interest, so they'll have to pry these pizza cutters from my cold, dead hands.
I love the stuff you post, so keep it up.

Ken, If that's what you have then that's what you have to post :) I collect Tyco/ Mantua, I like diesels, I try to encourage Tyco associated postings. There used to be much much more Tyco talk than there is now. I have other manufacturer's models too. I forget myself and post non-Tyco stuff when I find it.

This is an HO forum. LOTW/COTW et al should be HO.

I agree with y'all.
Ken, I don't say "yUK" with your UK trains. Your finesse in your stories are cool and takes my mind off the beaten path. You have the passion with trains that I thoroughly enjoy!
What you post in COTW/LOTW, or anything else is awesome. I am sincerely impressed with any North American model trains you post... essentially because I believe you can pay quite a premium price over there for the same items we can get for a bit more than "a dime a dozen" this side of the pond.
Post what you have! When other people from this continent post pictures of foreign model trains, I am equally delighted. And your knowledge and responses only fuels my/our thoughts and heightens my/our interests.
Pour on the "Good Show!"
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

my point of this posting was to point out why I do not always post or do not post tyco/mantua items very often, I think that has now been answered, and would like to thank all those who did reply, with which I feel humbled by,and as a result will continue on my path, hoping to bring you nice items and info, and still say this is the best forum for friendship, sharing, tips and a lot more, ken

I think we need to add "Ken's Brass Corner" or something like that to the forum. Love seeing that stuff.
