Does anyone have ideas for the gold striping that goes on the cab and tender of Canadian Pacific steam loco? I've looked on Microscale's website but couldn't find anything. I know that I could use straight stripes, but I would like to have the curved corners.

Thanks!
Thomas

I'm guessing masking tape is out of the question for the side of a steam engine I've had decent results painting pinstripe window bands on streamliners using masking tape. It is time consuming though and
I suppose having to cut the tape into curves would be less than exact

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

I think what I'm going to end up doing is just straight corners, or maybe doing little 45s if I feel adventurous.

You could look to find a decal set of decals by Champion Decal Co. that had "Gold stripping" of multiple different sizes, but I'll warn you, they might be difficult to find as Champ went out of Business in September of 2010!
