I just purchased online a set of old Fleishmann high-level Santa Fe El Capitan cars. Does anyone know how long these models are? Are they scale length, or shorter? Thanks

They are much shorter than scale length, somewhere around 70 feet if I recall. I have a set of three packed away somewhere, along with some matching Athearn cars that are also shorties.

Thanks for the helpful answers. I was actually hoping they would be about as long as an Athearn or Mantua car for my 22" radius curves. They appear to have opaque windows with lighting, which is the next best thing to having an interior I guess. I'll try to post pics when they arrive Saturday.
