Along the way of my current project- a scale test car- I was momentarily distracted by an image of a MOW work caboose I am across online. I have a Model Power Amtrak MOW water tank caboose (hence my recent question about removing the trucks) and developed an idea for a customization, which is already underway.
Here is the original:

And here is my preliminary concept image (with apologies to Paintshop and Josh Moldover):

I had to re-draw a caboose cabin and shrink a tank car's tank, then bring them into a re-drawn flat car to get this. The car numbers are not aligned, but, hey....
I am finishing up th scale test car and will post that project while working on this one.

Hey! I have that same flatcar set! I don't use it anymore but I just put new couplers on the flat car and the tank and shed sit in-between my shop buildings
