Does anyone know of any good railfaning near Hilton Head SC? I will be going there in a few weeks, and I would like to do some railfanning before I have to do marching band camp for half the summer.

Just looking at Google maps, Hilton Head and nearby appears to be devoid of railroads.
However, in Savannah, there is considerable yard trackage being a port city of course.
I would like to visit Savannah, I hear it's got some nice tourist areas.

Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

You bet NC! been through that town. Lots of bars downtown on the river and there's a Bass Pro Shops and a railway museum( I think )!

I think I've been to that railway museum in Savannah. I don't remember seeing anything in HH though
