I just came in and noticed the auction and was the only bidder. It comes with the nonpowered unit but it has no trucks and no box. I thought I probably would pay that much at a show so I went for it. This is my first Tyco E-8.

I love San Fran and the Golden Gate, so I have always liked that engine... Will purchase on someday most likely...

I'm hoping that the City of SF runs as good as the other 6 axle Tycos have run for me. Come to think of it I don't think I've ever had a chance to buy any Tyco E-8s at train shows for a reasonable price that is. I might try to power the nonpowered unit with one of my extra 630s running gear or custom paint it for the PRR.
Sorry Justin, I just lucked into them, I hope it was luck.

I found one Tyco BN E8 last year at a show, for $12 I brought it home. Don't see the E8's that often, as far as Tyco goes, at the Mid-Atlantic shows I go to.

Sorry, it's been pointed out that it's an E-7

| Don't you just love it when you're the only bidder? XD. I bought a BN E-unit a couple years back at a show for $20. They're neat engines :)

Cheez you're so right and it doesn't happen very often. I had sort of lost interest in them.since I had not had any luck.
