Hey guys!
I will try to re-post better pictures of this piece.. to carry on with my theme from last week.. here is another custom scratchbuilt mostly brass inspection vehicle. ...as my AOTW:

It actually is powered. It seems to have been re-motored but never reassembled. Great!... another freaking project! Oh well, the price was right. I think I paid ~$9 total for it a few months ago on eBay.

Here are some revised photos of this piece. I forgot to mention that apparently, (possibly before it was re-motored) it was a second prize winner. I forgot to take a picture of the RED ribbon with gold lettering. I will try to post it tomorrow. It looks to me like he started to make some major changes to the unit. For one, it looks like he startef to build a roof to the once convertible cab:
POSSESSION, PRIDE AND JOY of the Polk and Westley RR
2nd prize for (I think) NMRA COAST DIVISION

I did a real double-take, Sean... I thought the box said 1903! Neat little project, and you've got the whole history right there. What kind of motor is in it?

Adds a neat story to it. I say leave it all original and run as is.
