Hey Guys:

Anyone know if an MDC/RH 2-6-2 Boiler will mount directly onto the same make of 2-8-0 Consolie Chassis?

Most of the boiler/chassis combos were interchangable so,....

Have no idea! Are they the old engine style or a modern engine like the Harriman? The Mogul has 53" or 61" drivers.

Gareth,
I have both the RH 2-6-2 Prairie and the RH 2-8-0 Consol. Both are packed away in a box but, if I remember correctly; they are considerably different locos.

Perhaps, there is a parts diagram on HO Seeker that shows whether they share the same parts?

I looked at the diagram fer ya Gareth and I couldn't see a difference. Just trial and error I guess!
