Hi all, my name is Adam. I have been in model railroad hobby since i was 10. I am now 27 and I am always looking out for restoration projects of any kind. Today I happened to stumble across two mantua engines and 6 cars. I have done some research in finding out what the two engines are: the early 0-4-0 "goat" in decent shape, and a very rough 4-4-0 "bell of the 80's". I also have 3 of the passenger cars mentioned in another topic on another thread, the all brass ones. The passenger cars are not complete from what i can tell. I also have an all metal freight, tanker, and oil car. Now, I have already torn down the "bell" and i will be doing the same to all of them, for the purpose of a full resto. In my research i have found a lack of information and connection to parts. I understand the company is no longer, but i was hoping that i might be able to find out about getting replacement parts from you guys. The big parts are basically all the molded chassis parts for the "bell". I would also like to get a hold of parts list for both engines and if possible the passenger cars. Any info towards the restoration goal would be very helpful and much appreciated! Thanks again.

Welcome, Adam. I think you'll find the drawings you need on HOSeeker.

For parts on the more recent 0-4-0 you can check with Dan at Yardbird Trains.

Parts for the Belle are harder to come by, but a member here, Sean (Mustangs_n_Trains) may have what you need.

Actually the 0-4-0 is the early camelback model. The body is all brass. Idk if that makes any difference in finding the guts for it though.
Thanks for the sites i had found yardbird before but the site with the manuals is great.

Yardbird has manuals posted for early cast & brass stuff like yours too, but I doubt he has parts for them. It wouldn't hurt to ask, tho. Sean and Frank (Toptrain) are most likely on this forum to have something you need.
