This has been on railpictures.net for about a week now, I thought it was nicely designed.

Alco,
Not a bad paint job! I will disagree with only one part of it..... with all the electronics, and such in the cab, the roof ought to be painted white, not black!

Not to mention it be much more easily AC'd for the personel in it as well!

I just read where this picture was taken near Gallitzin Pa. and not too far from Altoona where several of the NS Heritage paint schemes have been released.

I like it better in this scheme.

I think the SD70 looks like a Transformer too, but in a good way, not a cheesy one. /tyco/forum/uploaded/NickelPlate759/20120411212259_transformer.gif

Nelson,

FEC 106 is a very stylish paint scheme and an artistic design.

I never even considered that NS was testing this demonstrator so that means that there's another "new" paint job on the NS besides the heritage paint jobs.

Wow, that's a busy scheme for a demonstrator. The "Electro-Motive" logo almost seems subdued, like they're ashamed. I like the colors, but I think the demo schemes from the 60's and 80's were far superior. Just my opinion, of course... worth the paper it's printed on.
