What do you guys think? The caboose dimensions, windows, and end railings all seem to spell Tyco. I've just never heard of a Panasonic caboose. Part of a special set? Does anyone know the story?

It looks to be a Model Power Wide Vision caboose. (The end railings is the spotting feature to that).....

It's definitely the oversized wide-vision tooling developed and released by Tyco in the 70's... but not a Tyco release.
IHC inherited most of the Tyco freight car tooling, including the WV caboose. They released a wide variety of new roadnames around 2000, but no fantasy items. This promo was likely made by them, however... probably part of a grocery store set, as IHC made many of those in the same timeframe.

* You youngstere must all be new to this site, or are using a form of selective thinking. Duscussions on the use of original Tyco-Mantus dies have been talked about here for some time. Years. Out side of the PEMCO made locomotive that has been remade by IHC, the cars are Tyco-Mantua, that has been remade by IHC. * I found this http://24.149.253.215/tyco/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6182 Frank
