Friction drive with engine sparking mechanism Kit-bashed to HO would be cool on my rug layout. Woo Hoo! So Sorry, I can't afford it.

how old is that bad boy? i've never heard of it before. is that the track it runs on? the track looks huge for the train.

From description my guess is there are no flanges on the wheels; the track just forms a channel.

Actually, another site claims it ran on a lithographed sheet of flat tin. So maybe those tracks don't go with it? or it was a different set, there apparently are two different versions.
