As the title says, those guys here that are purist, please turn your head!

I took a 1980's Bachmann "Train Set" type BQ23-7, and made it into this:

Runs like a DREAM, pulls well (NOT typical Bachmann) As I changed the frame, it has a Athearn UBoatB frame, powered, directional lighting, NON DCC.....Metal handrailing custom fitted, all the extra details and I think I even removed that opening they called a pilot and replaced it with an Athearn UboatB pilot.

Then, custom painted it in CSX, the ONLY BQ23-7 to get the YN-2 paint!

busss,
The sad thing is, even tho alot of these were sold way back when, they are difficult to come by! (NO other manufacture makes them! They were only made by Bachmann, and was NEVER offered outside of the train set line from Bachmann.

HOWEVER back then, they did do a "fantasy" version, painted in Chessie System, C&O! When in fact that Seaboard Family Lines, OR SCL bought all 10 that were manufactured by GE in 1978!
