I do want to model a passenger car cleaner one day. Anyways, how and what was used to create the steam used to clean the passenger cars? Also, is there a good smoke unit that produces lots of smoke? I wanna animate this darn thing too!

One of the items I thought about using to make "steam" is a sonic mister, my wife has about 4 or 5 of them due to some quit working, it 's just scale build-up on the vibrating disc normally, I fixed one, and am intending to make a foggy "swamp" scene with it someday. I put a 2' piece of PVC on it to see if it'd raise the mist that high, and yes it will. Intend to set it on the floor, have a swamp scene, and foggy hanging over the watery area. Might work for what you want, too, and you can probably pick up a 2nd-hand mister cheap at a thrift store.
