I thought these were rare but one just went on Ebay for only $24.00. Anyone know why it went for so little?

I recently sold one privately -mint in the box- within a collection of items. I paid $60 on eBay for that one (ask NYC). I won this one for $24 because eBay is a cruel BITCH GODDESS. It's Karma, I guess. Sometimes you laugh all the way to the bank, sometimes you don't even get dinner and a movie...or a peck on the cheek the morning after.

Seriously...sometimes something that moved for $100 will only do $25 worth of business the next. It's the nature of eBay.

I was surprised, as well.

I agree that $24 for one without a box is a fair price. And eBay is that way...one day its "worth" $100 the next day it dies with zero bids for $1...one never knows.

the question that really matters is,do i want it,if yes then thats all that matters, how much you pay is your business, one week you will get something well cheap the next you may have to pay much more, who knows next week an unboxed one might go for $50,ebay is much like a seesaw,i think also $24 on bases of previous prices is not over the top for something that is not easy to find, ken

Good example of that hot one minute and left for dead the next on eBay...I forgot about an auction last night for a Stokley's promo box car. Think it was only a couple bucks and even had another car in with it. Thought I drop a bid on it, if it didn't have any takers. I forgot about it and nobody took it. That car should be worth at least a few bucks, shouldn't it???
