Hi Frank;

It's HO I understand.. I have some weird "Prairie" bug. I seem to like almost all 2-6-2's, my favourites being the Logging small driver ones, but this BR 75 is just beautiful in the original and the model form.

Ken's right about the price though. Pretty much lower end of brass range. Love to have one. These ran from WW1 till about `65. Eric may be able to chime in here.

Gareth , Great pictures of the Model and those 2 of 1118 are great. You actually were there when it was running. Good experience. Here is Jersey there was a USRA 0-6-0t running up in Whippany NJ at the Morris county Central, when my Kids were little. Also they, the MCCRR had a I think X ACL 4-6-2 I would see as I drove past and always said I would go ride, then I did with my family. On a weekend drive, up RT 23 we found a road sign for a train ride that promised that we would be held up by the James Gang. We went and the power was the ACL 4-6-2. And yes we were robbed of the play money given to us. We did get out to the Black River and Western to ride behind there steam. It is a 2-10-0. Looks almost like a Russian but was made in the after WW1. At Allair state park was a standard gauge shay 3 truck locomotive which pulled a few coaches around a big circle of track in the park. I rode that.
Pennsy is where I went a few times to see and ride behind steam. The New Hope and Ivy has a 2-8-0 . Strasburg Railroad ran A 0-6-0 X Reading camelback, a 4-4-0 X Pennsy D-16. It was across the street from the Pennsylvania state railroad Museum. Lots of steam engines to see there, but none run. Stroudsburg has Steamtown. Both times when there I rode the X Central Pacific 4-6-2 with a string a X CNJ passenger cars behind.
I like to go to Baltimore to see the Yankees play Baltimore. Two or three times I went to the B&O Railroad Museum there. I have some photos of it. I have seen them, the CNJ running thee trains through town as a kid. No pictures of them.
That is my real steam train story
