Hello, I'm ChessieRR.
I wouldn't consider myself a Tyco collector but I have a few Center St. kits and some camaros and javelins. I have a 4x8 layout with some buildings and industries, a hill and a small train yard.

Welcome to the forum! The name "Tyco Forum" is used very loosely...anything trains in welcome here If you have a camera, we'd all love to see pics of your layout

Welcome ChessieRR,
We really do like Tyco very much here. It sets this site apart from other "Train" sites. :)

Welcome to the forum Chessie! More just than Tyco here! Were just not the rivet counting type of train folks here!

| Thanks for the wonderful welcome! I've been a model railroader for a long time, found some Tyco at a train show not long ago. I'm definitely would not consider myself a rivet counter, I have 43 cars on my layout and nearly half of them are Life-Like Citations and Pickups, case in point.

FUnny how you started out with automobiles, I assume you like those as much as trains? your other post says Citations and Pick-ups. I happen to like AMC cars ( hence the ear-raising when you mentioned Javelins, on the TYco autoloader I'm assuming ), I have thousands of diecast cars, most packed away. My lone "layout" is a 4x4 over a stairwell, only room in the house I have for now. welcome aboard, and hope to hear more from you.

I don't have much Tyco stuff, so between the building kits and the cars, there wasn't much to mention in the way of Tyco. I have lots of athearn cars and a few nice locos though. As for the autos, I do happen to like them quite a bit (mine were bought separate, not with the autoloader). I think the Tyco and Life-Like cars have very good detail for their price and status as toy-train vehicles, not to say I don't have some more detailed vehicles too. I enjoy painting and otherwise modifying the Tyco and Life-Like vehicles once in a while.

Indeed, welcome to the forum! When the forum first came into being it was all die-hard tyco fans and has branched out quite a bit as you tell from the different subject sections. The roots of this forum are tyco but everyone has their own niche so dont be scared to ask questions. we have some great people here. When im not collecting Tyco I model the Chessie System railroad in the early 80's. I dont have a layout due to space resctrictions.

You confused me with the BNSF logo....LOL
BNSF has the nicest locomotives I've ever run, hands down. They even have an option that sprays winshield washer fluid out on the windshield...They are always clean and never smell and ALWAYS are mechanically well maintained...3 Chessie System SD-50s will work in place however...lol

Yeah, sorry for the confusion, I couldn't find a Chessie logo and I also like BNSF.
