I had a shoulda coulda woulda a few weeks back on some MDC 0-6-0's! Seems they sell less then $40! Anyways wanted to buy one the clone into a Gorre and Daphetid 0-6-0 Number 12. Its a MDC 0-6-0 switcher.

What headlights were used and where could I find them? Looks as if John back dated these into the wood-burning engine era. I would have to scratch build a new bunker for wood rather than the oil bunker. Also, the smoke stack, what is it and what could I use it from?

Just now noticed the fox pressed trucks! MDC musta used the engine itself for electrical pick up or used the tender. I know the trucks can be had. They're in the Walther catalog.

That's a great project idea. Someone on this forum might know how he made his kitbashed locos. I can only guess. It might help to know when he did them. For instance, companies like Precision Scale and CalScale may not have existed at that time. So the only option might be taking parts from existing locos or a fabricate them yourself.
That headlight looks like it's from an AHM steamer. I think I've got one somewhere.
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.
