I just had a idea on remotoring my Varney SW-7 and F-Unit. The motors sold by Dan at yardbirdtrains.com, I wanna use. How ever, the remotor kits for the 4-6-0 and 2-8-0, are the motors originally used the same size? My 2 Varneys have plastic trucks. I thought maybe if its close enough, maybe I could make the motor's mount a 90 degree angle and mount 'em up. Any ideas here?
