Just went to one of my favorite train seller's site and they had a Rivarossi Challenger sellung for $120! No box though. It was nice! Anybody here own one and how do they run? Most importantly, are they good pullers?

Keep in mind that it has DEEP flanges which means no rail less than standard/100lb as code 83 would be terrible for it.

If the locomotive is close to mint, that is, not any dust, no wear on the wheels, no missing details, headlight works, all couplers present... then, perhaps it is what you want to buy.

Is there shipping involved? Distance?

It will negotiate 18" radius track curves but look better on 22".

John

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
