Digging through the collection I bought I stumbled across this. made by Matchbox in 1967 its a road set complete with curbs and lights etc.

DUDE! you gotta real collector's item there! The old Matchbox is worth some bucks!

Cool beans, RB. You found a real treasure trove. IIRC Matchbox was also making battery operated slot car sets with gray track like that at the same time.
