Royal Blue, Is there a number on the set box? Could you post pictures of the bottoms of the passenger cars? Could you take a close up picture of the SF B-unit?
Thanks

That is a really nice, rare and quite valuable find there Royal.
The B unit should house the air horn sound system and the passenger cars were made by Fleischmann of West Germany.
That set is worth a few hundred $$ alone! Nice find!

Hi,
never seen Fleischmann SF coaches (only NP, UP and Pennsy), are those repaints? What does the label on the box say? And the stickers on the B-unit? Sorry, pictures are too bad!

Set 5506 is a Northern Pacific passenger set offered in 1955. The SF F7A looks like a Penn Line issue from the early sixties. The B unit looks like a repaint . The 2 cabooses are American Flyer.

The cabooses werent supposed to be in the pic as my daughters put them there. The B unit does have the air horn in it but was repainted as were the cars I am assuming. This is a set Im going to restore along the line shortly when I find my work bench again. Thank you for the info.
